Try Body Shot for energy. Should have cracked armor somewhere anyways with physical damage.

Oh they can run out of energy, but they don't immediately and quite frankly, if the fight has lasted that long and if I'm not in an imminent winning position then I've messed up and and have problems far beyond the energy on a ranger hero.
And I value a maintainable 33% IAS over a single damage skill.

Edit: The only source of Cracked Armour in my setup is Finish Him. It's also the only source really worth buggering about with - Weaken Armour doesn't give appreciable results for the cost of putting it in.

Edit 2: I don't mean to come across as dismissive. The concern is valid, I just haven't really noticed much of an issue and certainly not enough of one to alter the setup too greatly.
